Nuwa is an Amazonian herbal tea that belongs to the indigenous Awajún community, more precisely to “Las Nuwas”, Amazonian women who work in an organized way, in a forest of almost 9 hectares in the San Martín region, to conserve and recover knowledge. about the power of the region’s plants, information handed down from mother to daughter, generation to generation. Nuwa means woman in Awajún, and in addition to raising children and cooking, these women take care of family members who fall ill.
